Snowbowl Open for Skiing & Riding

Team registration and toboggan inspection in Tobogganville

Toboggan chute open to public $5 per person, FREE FOR TEAM MEMBERS

3 to 7 pm

Down the Chute Beer & Wine challenge CANCELLED!

Banff Mountain Film Festival :Strom Auditorium ( C.H.R.H.S) CANCELLED!

10 am to 6 pm

Bonfire, food vendors, souvenirs, music, skiing and snowboarding on Snow Bowl slopes

Toboggan Team Registration, sled Inspection

7:30 am - 5pm

Bus shuttle from downtown Camden ($8 limited on-site parking – get here early, not guaranteed)

8 – 10 am***

Qualifying runs for 2-person and 3-person teams.

9 am – 4 pm

Snow Bowl open for skiing, snowboarding and tubing

Mechanical Bull Rides at the Base Lodge (2 for $5)

10 am***

Qualifying runs for experimental and 4-person teams

Noon***

Break and Memorial Runs for Don Gross, Ken Bailey and Jeff Kuller

1 pm***

FINALS
Best times for each division qualify.
25 top times make it into the finals in the 2-person and 3-person divisions; top 50 times
qualify for the finals in the 4-person division. For the experimental group, the top three
times qualify for the finals.

3 pm ***

Awards ceremonies

Racers: Arrive early and plan to spend the day!

First-Second-Third places in each division

Special Awards:
Best costume, oldest team, fastest team, fastest women's team, fastest children's team, fastest high school team, fastest college team and best crafted toboggan.

TIPS & HINTS FOR FIRST TIME COMPETITORS:

  • Wear old clothes
  • Be sure costume is not too bulky
  • Consider wearing goggles and/or helmet
  • Keep face covered
  • Plan to stay all day, there's lots to do and see and food for sale at the lodge and at the Toboggan Chute
  • During the race, if you need any help or information, go to the Chute Shop located near the Toboggan Chute
  • Carpooling recommended
  • Volunteers sought. Call the Snow Bowl 236-3438 or stop by the Chute Shop to volunteer any time during the weekend.
