Ragged Mountain Ski Club
The Ragged Mountain Ski club is a non-profit organization of families and friends with the common goal of promoting healthy activity through on-snow sports and of supporting and developing skiers and ski racers.
Our goal is to provide a fun and safe environment in which each of our youth can develop as people and achieve their personal skiing goals. To achieve this, the club focuses on introducing young people to skiing and snowboarding and developing strong fundamental skills. For older youth, we focus on an understanding of the mind and body aspects of racing, promoting commitment, hard work, and sportsmanship.
We help make snow sports accessible to all by providing scholarships, subsidized programs, support of racing programs, and safety equipment.
The Ski Club is an essential partner to the Camden Snow Bowl. In 2014 we raised $40,000 with pancake breakfasts and an Annual Ski Club Auction. Those funds go to the direct support of the 4th Grade Learn-to-Ski program, Lids for Kids, scholarships to local youth to participate in competition programs, as well as supplying safety and race equipment.
Our volunteers support several middle school, high school, and open races at the Snow Bowl that attract skiers from around the state.
We have awesome t-shirts.
The 2015-16 Scholarship form will be available soon.
